This very beautiful Victorian Opal and Diamond ring is Circa 1900.
The ring is decorated in the most wonderful 2ct natural Opal, with a halo of glistening Diamonds surrounding it.
Each Diamond is 0.07ct, and there are 12 Diamonds, which totals to 0.84ct of Diamond on this fabulous ring.
The Diamonds are old brilliant cut - SI 1 H colour.
Diamond is the hardest mineral on Earth and this combined with its exceptional lustre and brilliant fire has made it the most highly prized of all gems.
The lovely natural Opal is a kaleidoscope of rainbow colours shimmering and changing colours with the light, they radiate a myriad of colours such as blues, pinks, greens, turquoise and an inner orange.
The gemstones are set in a 18ct White Gold gallery, the shank is 18ct Yellow Gold.
